National Reso-phonic Tricone Style 1 (2008)

This beautiful secondhand guitar is in near perfect condition and is professionally fitted with the Highlander (external battery box) pickup system. The Style 1 shares many of its features with the original National Tricone created by the Dopyera brothers in the late 1920s. The brass body is polished to a mirror-like shine and nickel plated. The mahogany neck, finished in a rich mahogany burst, has an ivoroid bound ebony fretboard and traditional slotted headstock.

The Triolian

New for 2009, the Triolian is a re-issue of the early 1930s W-Series Triolians. The thin gauge steel body is highlighted by flat cut f-holes, a formed back and traditional sieve-hole coverplate. Each body is hand painted in walnut burst. Maple neck. Ivoroid-bound rosewood fretboard. We've played it and think it passes the blindfold test!

The Don

"Don": we don't need to say much about these, other than that they were originally made between 1934 and 1936. They were the highest quality instruments that left the National factory and were made from German silver steel. Well, they have been reproduced in a limited number of 100 and we're lucky enough to have one.
